This year has truly been one for the history books, from groundbreaking achievements on the pitch and court to transformative developmental programs. Thanks to the dedication of our players, the guidance of our coaches, the tireless efforts of our management, and the unwavering support of parents, Lagos Tigers Sports Club continues to soar to new heights.
Game-Changing Camps: Building Champions On and Off the Field
This year, our Easter and Summer Soccer Camps set new standards for excellence, hosting over 30 and 70 players, respectively.
• Easter Camp (April 2024): A program dedicated to ball mastery and leadership development, equipping our players with the skills to lead both in sports and life.
• Summer Camp (August 2024): Combined ball mastery with financial literacy, underscoring our commitment to holistic development—because we’re not just shaping athletes but nurturing future leaders.
These camps didn’t just hone technical skills; they empowered players to grow in confidence, discipline, and life skills.
Unstoppable on the Football Field
Our football teams delivered jaw-dropping performances that left a lasting mark in 2024:
• U9 Team – Islanders League Champions: The U9 team dominated the league, going unbeaten to lift the trophy in March 2024. Their teamwork and determination were nothing short of inspiring.
• Champs Cup Glory: In September 2024, our U10 and U13 teams showcased their prowess among fierce competition. The U10 team secured third place, while the U13 team earned an impressive second place, proving their mettle on the field.
• Junior Liga League Journey: Our U10 and U13 teams have continued to shine in the Junior Liga League, displaying incredible skill and resilience while identifying areas for growth.
These accomplishments are a testament to our coaches’ tireless work and our players’ passion.
Breaking Barriers in Basketball
2024 marked the birth of a new legacy for Lagos Tigers: the launch of our Basketball Academy in April. This initiative aims to close the gap in quality basketball training and nurture players who dream of excelling both recreationally and professionally.
Our basketball stars didn’t just train—they conquered:
• Friendly Game Victories: A thrilling start with wins that boosted confidence and morale.
• U12 Lekki Christmas Basketball Tournament Champions: In December 2024, our U12 basketball team clinched the championship, a stunning achievement in their first competitive outing.
